Welcome to Robins.
In our class Miss Gordon is our teacher and Mrs Robinson is our teaching assistants.
During the Autumn term
During their science session, Year 6 made blood! They learnt all about the four different components within blood: platelets, red blood cells, white blood cells and plasma, and the individual jobs they do to keep the body functioning. We used cheerios to replicate red blood cells; oats to represent platelets and marshmallows to act as white blood cells, all mixed in with water and yellow food colouring (plasma). Next week we will be learning about the circulatory system and the importance of blood.
