This half term our Golden value will be RESILIENCE. Resilience is our ability to adapt and bounce back when things don’t go as planned. Resilient people don’t wallow or dwell on failures; they acknowledge the situation, learn from their mistakes, and then move forward. This is an important value for children to have in the ever-changing world we live in.
The children will learn how that to become more resilient they will need to be positive to face new and difficult challenges; patient to work through the challenges to find a solution; and demonstrate perseverance to commit to being the best they can be.
Nelson Mandela stated,
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
